His useful rapid fire Far Jab animation from World Warrior disappeared and only have his Close Jab version,but gained a command move that is as fast as any rushdown special like Ryu and Ken Hurricane Kick or Blanka's Roll,but isn't useful agaisnt Dictador's Torpedo. Guile's gameplan its so simple and useful for beginners,turtling,poking with crouching kicks and spamming Sonic Boom or Flash Kick depends of the opponent's answer. One of the Top 4 Champion Edition fighters along with Ryu,Dictador and Sagat,also with the fastest projectile in the game and best anti air only inferior to Ken's Shoryuken.
You can use it as corner escape and for a safe jump or walk for midscreen if you hit. Its buffed from World Warrior, its your main combo ender, specially 2-in-1 with crouching Strong or CPS1 Chain crouching Jab to Standing Strong, and a great anti air, her recovery its riskful than Sonic Boom and puts you in a possible throw or hold punish.

In the Street Fighter V version, the F-16 is replaced with a USAF McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. In the EX version, an A-6E can also be seen. The fighter jet depicted in the background is a USAF General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. 
When Guile is selected as an opponent in Street Fighter V, the location of this stage on the map puts it somewhere in between San Antonio, TX and Shreveport, LA. In Street Fighter II V, Ken challenges Guile in an air force base. The crates were previously not breakable in this version of the stage, however. The Air Force Base appears as Guile's stage, being a somewhat of a replica of the Super Street Fighter II version, now featuring an F-18. The EX Plus version differs slightly in the coloration. In the original Street Fighter EX, the air force base serves as the stage of both Guile and Allen Snider. In the base, someone challenges him for a fight in exchange for information. Guile went to the air force base while searching who killed his comrade Charlie Nash, his only clue being the name M. The stage has two crates that can be broken. Guile's stage, set on the Air Force Base, has some of his colleagues watching the battle and an F-16 Fighting Falcon jet on the background with the text CAP RF512.
